Scott Siders
Scott Siders is the founder and president of Novo, Inc., a full-service copywriting and copyediting firm that provides marketing solutions for companies in a variety of industries and on projects large and small. With nearly twelve years of writing and editing experience in marketing and related fields, Scott has a diverse and extensive background in copywriting, copyediting, proofreading, creative writing, and project management. Scott is a creative thinker who integrates dynamic and spontaneously combustible energy into every project, develops long-lasting professional relationships with clients, and consistently maintains the highest standards of writing and editing excellence.
Prior to founding Novo, Scott served as the lead writer and RFP project manager for HealthTrans, a leading pharmacy benefits administrator, where he led a team of proposal writers and was responsible for writing and editing marketing materials to support the company’s sales efforts. Prior to joining HealthTrans, Scott was a marketing and business writer for TeleTech, a global provider of business process outsourcing solutions, where he developed marketing collateral and business proposals.
Additional experience includes serving as the marketing and technical writer for a company that created processes and systems to help maximize the performance of employees in call centers and other technology-based environments. In this position, Scott was responsible for all corporate communications and for writing user manuals for the company’s software products. Scott’s experience also includes teaching creative writing at the college level, as well as teaching reading skills, spelling, and reading comprehension to students with learning disabilities.
Scott earned his MA degree in English with an emphasis in creative writing from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and holds a BA degree in English from the University of Colorado. He was the founder and editor-in-chief of a literary journal in graduate school, and has received awards for his writing. Scott is a member of Business Network International (BNI).
