We've had loads of success getting businesses cost-effective exposure online. In many cases our search engine optimized press releases, articles, and other forms of online marketing communications have ranked on the first page of Google and other search engines.

This unique kind of exposure gets potential customers to click over to your Web site. But then the real challenge begins: Are they going to stay on your site or click away to a competitor's site?

Does your Web site compel them to pick up the phone, email you, sign up for your newsletter, or do whatever else you want them to do?

Curious? You should be. Your sales are counting on it.

For a limited time Novo is offering a FREE consultation to review your homepage and provide you with recommendations on how to improve it. If you like our ideas and see how we can add value to your business, we can talk about ways to maximize your exposure online.

This could include updating your Web site and doing some multiple exposure marketing activities with press releases, articles, blogs, and case studies to get you more publicity and drive more traffic to your site.

We'll work with you to determine which strategy is the most effective for your business. Then we'll implement a targeted online marketing campaign that gets results.

Get Multiple Exposure Online

Friday, April 10, 2009

Multiple exposure marketing, or what I’ve also referred to as a form of momentum marketing, works by reaching your target audience wherever they may be by using various forms of marketing communications.

The Internet and the use of search engine optimization (SEO) make reaching your potential customers easier than ever before. You can get multiple exposure online through your Web site, press releases, articles, blogs, email marketing, and many other ways. Your customers exist “offline” as well, of course, so a sound marketing campaign may also include printed marketing materials such as direct mail, brochures, flyers, etc.

To simplify things, let’s just focus on some of the ways multiple exposure marketing can really get your business noticed online. The good news is that very small campaigns can reap big rewards.

Case in Point:
A client of mine had a Web site and a blog. Unfortunately, since the Web site was not optimized, very few people found her online. She needed to reach out to her soon-to-be customers online. To do so we implemented a small online press release campaign. I wrote three SEO press releases that were submitted online over the course of six weeks. Each targeted a specific area of her expertise.

The results? The press release campaign:
• Increased visitors to the Web site by more than 200%
• Ranked on the first page of Google for the targeted keyword phrases
• Doubled the number of new business leads the firm received compared to other marketing efforts during the same period
• Generated leads in new regions that resulted in new business

We could get even better results by also implementing an email marketing campaign, submitting SEO articles to online article databases, utilizing social media marketing, etc.

Every marketing communication increases your exposure online (especially when you effectively utilize SEO). If you give your potential customers multiple ways to find you online, they WILL find you. And, if they like what they find, they’ll buy from you.

The bottom line . . . is your bottom line. Multiple exposure marketing can multiply your sales.

What Is Momentum Marketing Anyway?

Friday, April 3, 2009

In a previous blog post I mentioned that I’d be writing about momentum marketing—what it is, how to implement a strategy for your business, etc. I’m going to break up the topic into several bite-size blog posts, so check back often for updates.

To generate the maximum amount of awareness for your business and products/services, you need to capitalize on the marketing power of multiple exposure. Multiple exposure means creating multiple marketing pieces and then disseminating them to multiple mediums.

It’s not enough to JUST have a Web site or JUST a brochure or JUST a press release. You WILL sell more products and services if you cross-pollinate your marketing message across many complementary sources (both online and offline). To put it plainly, you need to be “all things to all people.” That is to say that your customers will find you in many different ways IF you give them the opportunity.

So, how does this all add up? Momentum marketing is the act of utilizing multiple methods of communicating your marketing message (be it through your Web site, direct mail campaign, brochure, press release, email marketing, etc.) to reach your customers wherever they may be.

You can make your business and products/services ubiquitous both online and offline.

We’ll talk about how it works next time. In the meantime, check out the Novo (soon to be revamped) Web site. Visit the Portfolio page to see examples of how we can market your business with powerful copywriting that gets results.

The Power of Momentum Marketing

Friday, March 27, 2009

In the coming days and weeks I’ll be discussing the power of multiple exposure marketing, or what I’ll call momentum marketing for its wonderful alliteration. This is not “brand” new stuff, but it does deserve to be discussed in further detail nevertheless.

Here’s a taste of what’s to come on the topic of momentum marketing:
• What is momentum marketing and how does it get my company multiple exposure?
• How momentum marketing works
• Why momentum marketing works and how it can specifically work for your business—regardless of industry, size, etc.
• Practical examples of momentum marketing
• ROI of momentum marketing vs. “piecemeal” publicity for your business
• How you can implement a momentum marketing campaign tomorrow that fits your budget and business
• And more!

Check back soon. I’ll be writing a blog on each of the above topics over the course of the next couple of weeks.
